David Muir is an American anchor and journalist best known for his ABC news program World News Tonight with David Muir as well as his role in the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he serves as an anchor and co-anchor. His show with its dramatic clips of celebrity gossip on video and animated movements has become the most watched news program in America. In addition, he has the Emmy-nominated show Made In America. He was the primary anchor for the show under His predecessor Diane Sawyer before taking over ABC World News Tonight. The primetime newscasts for ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He has traveled around the globe, providing news coverage in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He has been awarded multiple Emmy Awards Edward R.
